A Movement to Build a better Edo State and Nigeria

Our commitment is built in the understanding that making Edo state and Nigeria great must be on our collective account.

The comrade show is truly setting the pace and recalibrating the minds of Edolites and Nigerians both home and abroad.  The consistent practical promotion and projection of the benefits of civic duties and moral values in society is outstanding.

Our Mantra/Goal

That Edo and Nigeria must be great is a task for citizen.
Government cannot do it alone

We compliment government's effort by initiating and sustaining public spirited programs like our Edo Street Lighting Project and the Edo State Zero Illiteracy Program (ESZIP).

A Tool For Societal Change

We regularly identify and raise issues of common concern for discussion with a view to awakening society's consciousness and pressuring relevant authorities to be alive to responsibilities.

Timely Information to Edo and Nigerians Home and Abroad

We provide timely information on happenings around Edo state and Nigeria. We also discuss and analyse  government's policies and programmes in Edo state and Nigeria.

Providing succour to Edo state  people

We are also quietly and palpably involved in humanitarian activities including proving bore holes to very needy communities, helping to rebuild dilapidated  schools, supporting sporting activities with materials at the local level etc,

In line with improved security, the program was also aimed at boosting people's confidence to move around their neighbourhood when it get's dark. And that goal is already being met in the areas we have installed lights

Edo Zero Illiteracy Program (EZIP)

The Edo Zero Illiteracy Program (EZIP) of The Comrade Show is constantly working to identify children of primary school age in Edo State, who are out of school because of their parents' or guardians' inability to sponsor them.  Upon identification and all necessary processes, they are enrolled into the nearest school to them with EZIP providing all necessary materials for their schooling. The materials include books, writing materials,  bags, school uniforms, school shoes and enrolment fees where necessary.

With statistics showing that nearly 80 thousand children are out of school in Edo State, The Comrade Show aims to use EZIP to harness all necessary collaborations to reducing the figure to zero in 10 years.
